Scarperia, Florence (October 1st, 2019) – La Marzocco wishes to extend a word of tribute and awareness on one of the most valuable commodities today, celebrated and story-told each October 1st through a multitude of initiatives, events and platforms. This year La Marzocco is happy to share some of its endeavors, grateful in being part of the development of the community and that of its partners, old and new. For example, in the joint celebration of a roaster’s anniversary, with high-end cuisine venturing into the world of specialty coffee or with the efforts at origin, across the value chain, and even beyond the industry through formats such as Coffee Encounters bringing people, spaces and experiences together. We would like to thank all the hands that go into a cup of coffee: the farmer, the processor, the exporter, the importer, the roaster, the end-users, the barista and the consumer. In occasione dell’International Coffee Day, La Marzocco desidera esprimere una parola che celebri e diffonda consapevolezza nella sua community globale su quella che è una delle materie prime di maggior valore oggi, festeggiata e raccontata ogni primo Ottobre attraverso una moltitudine di iniziative, eventi e piattaforme social.
Quest’anno, La Marzocco è lieta dell’impegno condiviso con i propri partner, vecchi e nuovi, e vuole esprimere la sua gratitudine per essersi sentita parte della loro crescita: dall’aver celebrato l’anniversario di un torrefattore fino ad un’avventura culinaria di alto livello nel mondo del caffè specialty, passando per il suo impegno alle origini della filiera, attraverso la catena del valore e persino arrivando a coinvolgere un pubblico al di fuori del settore, attraverso format come Coffee Encounters che riesce ad avvicinare spazi, esperienze e persone.
Vorremmo ringraziare tutte le figure che sono coinvolte ogni giorno nella realizzazione di una tazza di caffè: il coltivatore, il trasformatore, l’esportatore, l’importatore, il torrefattore, ed ovviamente, il barista.
La Marzocco continuerà ad impegnarsi per essere sempre lo strumento che permetta l’espressione finale di questo enorme lavoro collettivo e ringrazia la sua rete per la fiducia ed il supporto costanti.
